How old do I have to be to rent?

You must be at least 21 with a valid driver's license. Renters aged 21–24 pay a young-driver surcharge of $25 per day, and high-performance vehicles require you to be 25 or older.

What do I need to bring to pick up a vehicle?

A valid, unexpired driver's license in your name, a major credit or debit card in the same name, and proof of personal auto insurance or a purchased coverage plan from us. That's it.

How much is the security deposit?

The deposit amount is shown on each vehicle page. Kia K4 sedans require a $300 refundable deposit hold; the Corvette and Mercedes-Benz S-Class require a $1,000 refundable deposit hold. It's a hold on your card, not a charge, and it's released within 3–5 business days after the vehicle is returned in the same condition.

Do I need my own insurance?

You need liability coverage. Most personal auto policies extend to rentals, and many credit cards add collision coverage. If you don't have either, we sell a damage waiver for $19.99 per day at pickup.

How many miles do I get?

Accepted Answer

200 miles per day, 1,200 per week, and 3,000 per month are included. Extra miles are $0.35 each and are billed at return. Unlimited-mileage upgrades are available on most vehicles for a flat daily rate.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, as credit or debit. Debit cards require a valid license plus one additional form of ID. We do not accept cash, prepaid cards, or payment apps for the deposit.

Can I rent with a debit card?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Debit renters need a second form of ID and the deposit hold clears from your available balance rather than a credit line, so make sure the funds are there at pickup.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 24 hours before your pickup time and there is no charge at all. Inside 24 hours we charge one day's rate. Requests that we haven't confirmed yet can be cancelled anytime for free.

Can I extend my rental?

Yes — call us before your scheduled return and we'll extend it as long as the vehicle isn't already reserved. Extensions bill at your original daily rate, and hitting a weekly or monthly threshold drops you to the lower rate automatically.

Do you deliver the vehicle?

Free delivery and pickup within 15 miles of our lot, including body shops, dealerships, hotels, and the airport cell lot. Beyond 15 miles it's $2.50 per mile each way.

What happens if I return the vehicle late?

There's a 59-minute grace period. After that we bill hourly at one-quarter of the daily rate, up to a maximum of one full extra day. Just call us — a heads-up almost always avoids a fee.

Question 12

Do you work with insurance claims?

Accepted Answer

Regularly. Send us your claim number, adjuster's name, and approved daily rate and we'll direct-bill the carrier. If your approved rate is below the vehicle's rate, you only pay the difference.
